Our Vision

GEN2050® inspires and empowers youth to become exemplary world leaders.

Our Mission

GEN2050® is an innovative STEAM-focused youth development program for students in K through 12th grades. This year-round program engages students in intensive learning environments to inspire and prepare them for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Culture, and Mathematics) majors, entrepreneurship, self-leadership, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility.

Our Impact

According to a research evaluation of GEN2050® Summer Camp 2024, our students reported statistically significant increases in their self-esteem from the beginning to the end of summer camp. GEN2050® summer camp curricula provided equitable learning opportunities for all students, regardless of their background. And across all STEAM curricula evaluated, our students maintained their knowledge one month after camp completion. Click the link to read the full report: GEN2050 2024 Research Evaluation

GEN2050 Summer Camp 2024 STEAM in Action!

GEN2050 MDC YOUTH BIODIVERSITY NETWORK 2025

GEN2050’s Miami-Dade County (MDC) Youth Biodiversity Network is a student collaboration across Miami-Dade County, Florida, created to explore, document, and investigate phenomena about the biodiversity in Miami-Dade County. GEN2050 will host the GEN2050 Miami-Dade County Youth Biodiversity Summit on August 1, 2025, at COOL Church in Miami Gardens, Florida. The summit will showcase youth-led projects and case studies through presentations, panel discussions, and break-out sessions to foster knowledge exchange and inspire new approaches and directions for biodiversity conservation. Several National Geographic Explorers, scientists, and conservationists will share their work and encourage summit attendees to conserve and enhance the biodiversity of their communities.
